The creation of this blog aims to present the career of a talented Simracer, Jim Parisis. Here you will be informed about his races, his fights and his tricky moments throughout his racing seasons.
Jim Parisis was born in 30th July, 1987 in Thessaloniki. His first experience as a driver was at the age of 13, when he drove a go-kart for the first time. He had some serious competition...his father. When I asked him how he felt he answered: "I just wanted to beat my dad" . However that wasn't when he really got into the world of simracing. One of his friends told him about ps games with F1 cars. They started organizing tournaments to see who was the best driver, but he wasn't that good at the beginning.. He just couldn't stand the idea of losing. Then, they started playing a new game called "F1 2002 pc game". They used to hang out at his friend's house and spend hours competing. Jim was still not able to beat his friend. He then decided to install the game to his pc as well and that was when he started realising what he had to do. After that it as a piece of cake for Jim to win.
His racing career consists of, 4 titles. 3 worldwide and 1 Greek.
2008: World Champion C-online
2009: World Champion C-online
2010: Greek Champion F1 Axion
2012: World Champion GPVWC Formula Challenge ( Torrent Motorsports )
He is currently participating in FSR WC, the top rFactor championship.
He recently moved to iRacing and his goal is to compete with the best sim racers.
I've watched him racing and i believe we should expect more titles from him.
