GPVWC Formula Challenge 2012

The bearer of good news continued...

A picture is worth  a thousand words..and that is the picture that I am going to publish today. Two months ago I posted a picture with Jim's trophy from the headquarters of GPVWC as he was announced the winner-champion of the Formula Challenge 2012. He has been expecting his trophy since the 21st of December and today he finally received it! He wasted no time and he sent me a picture of himself and his trophy. Below is what he told me when i asked how he felt when he received it.

" It is the first trophy I ever had so that makes it pretty special for me! I was so excited when I finally received it, as I have been waiting for it for such a long time. From now on I will be seeing it and it  will remind me of this beautiful and successful season I had :) "

The holidays are over and its about time I wished you a Happy New Year!! So, to the point. During Christmas holidays the Greek championship didn't hold any races. Now, that they are over a new race was held in Spain on Monday 14th of January. Jim didn't make to the pole, however he won the race! Having done very little practise throughout the holidays that was an unexpected win! He mentioned that the sum of the practise he had done was about 50 laps. He decided how his tactic would work only a few minutes before the race started. As always I have his statement after the end of the race.

Jim's statement:

" It was a really nice race for me, with the strategy playing its unique role. I was able to do a lot of overtakings on different drivers. It was a "rich" race with the result of my victory."

He also congratulated his teammate and made promises for the races to come!

Well done yet another time Jim! Congratulations!!
