Monday 28th January 2013, a disastrous race for Jim. Canada showed "its bad intentions" for Jim from the beginning. He had to face a penalty as his start was invalid, so he had to make a drive though. Soon after that he had to enter again the pits as he had an accident. While he was in his pit stop his engine burnt and Jim DNF. He bearly talked to me, and the only thing he said and that was his statement was : " A mess".

As the old saying goes "better late than never" I was finally able to talk with Jim and learn the outcome of his race in F1Axion in Monaco on Monday 21st of January 2013. As soon as the race was over I reached Jim to ask him about his race. As we know racing in Monaco isn't the easiest thing. He had an excellent Q as he was the poleman. He had no idea how his strategy would be minutes before his race. He was the leader for many laps when he had an accident and forced him to do an extra pit stop which was when he lost the first place. He finished second, however due to a mistake the leader made during his exit from a pit stop, brought Jim to the first place. That was the reason why I couldn't know the outcome of the race earlier I was waiting for the stewards decision. As always I have his statement.

" It has been the best Q that could ever happen. 1-2 in Monaco could only be true in someone's dreams. However, the dream didn't last long since Jordan, my teammate, fell from second to fourth. My race was up in the air and I trusted the strategy formed by our Pit Manager. I only had an accident  on the 20th lap which cost me my right suspensions, back and front. My race was pretty normal as I had Jim Katelas behind me for many laps, making sure that I felt his persistence. I enjoyed the race, a big thanks to my pit crew for all their good work. It's a pity that luck deprived Jordan from something best."

And when I asked him how about taking the win since Jim Katelas (one of his rivals) would face a penalty he answered :
" If I am to take the win due to Jim's penalty, is more than welcome to me since I have never won in Monaco"

Win after win after win..that's my wish for Jim..!
