GPVWC Race of Champions was an event that was held on 28-29 of November 2012. The theme of the event was a race among the 32 best drivers of GPVWC between them were some champions including Jim! Jim took place in the event and of course - even though he didn't have much experience in that kind of cars- he WON! After the event was over I decided to talk to Jim and find out how he felt about being the Champion of the Champions! Here is what he told me :
" I don't have experience with this kind of cars and I know I'm not the fastest guy between those, but my priority was to have some fun and so I did! First on 28th of November me and my event's teamate gave our fight to win the ticket in the finals and we did it! The finals were going to be a whole other story, where I had to face very good drivers and some champions! Every battle I gave was fantastic and hard. It was hard to keep focused and not make mistakes on this track. When we managed to reach the final it felt so good already! The main battle came 2-2 and then it was the grand final, the decider was between me and Teemu! That race was just crazy! I gave everything I had, trying not to make mistakes and hopefully win this! And YESSSSS, I won for 0.020 seconds!!! Great feeling and a big smile on my face!! I was the Champion of Champions!!"
I've watched the event and I have to admit that Jim's vitory was a nerve racking situation. He is a talented driver and he never stops proving it!
